CYNEFIN RETREAT – A unique opportunity, an inspiring location!
August 5-9, 2018 – Tasmania, Australia
Cynefin retreats focus on the application of new thinking to real world issues, creatively bringing theory and practice together a form that is neither conference or unconference, but something very different.
In the last highly successful retreat we looked at the wider question of design, from multiple perspective. In Tasmania we will develop that thinking by looking at how we design for resilience – survival through constant change – a subject of current concern in organisations, ecology and the individual. Participants in this retreat will create a new set of frameworks and methods and will have first mover advantage in their application. The impressive faculty (see brochure) will provide initial stimulus and then interact with the participants creating a unique experience of embodied learning.
Join us from 5-9 August in spectacular Tasmania, Australia at Stewarts Bay Lodge in Port Arthur, where we will immerse ourselves in a deep exploration on Cynefin and Resilience. Cynefin Retreats are residential and tickets are inclusive of accommodations, meals, and session activities.
We expect for participants to arrive on Sunday, 5 August 2018 in the afternoon in time for a group dinner and evening social and depart on Thursday, 9 August around noon immediately following a morning wrap-up session.
Cynefin practitioners who are interested in becoming an authorized Cynefin trainer can attend the Retreat and the Cynefin Train-the-Trainer program immediately folllowing. We also have special tickets for attendance of two Retreats, of which on Retreat needs to be combined with a Cynefin Train-The-Trainer session. Please click here for details and bundle tickets.
